Youth Fashion Summit 2014
Copenhagen, April 22nd- 23rd 2014
The Youth Fashion Summit's focus was on solutions: How can the fashion industry justify a future with fewer resources and more people to share them? What will the industry look like in 2050? In what direction should the industry head to ensure the best possible solutions for the key challenges? The Summit was attended by 120 students from international universities. Together they developed demands that they presented to industry and government representatives at the Copenhagen Fashion Summit on 24th of April.
As lead facilitator for the group with the theme 'resources' during the two day workshop of the Youth Fashion Summit 2014, I had the opportunity to gather the knowledge on sustainability from students from international universities into one final future-facing proposal. The program included a webinar series before the workshop where students had learned more about sustainable strategies. KEA (the Copenhagen School of Design and Technology) developed process cards and design thinking excercises for the workshops.
